My name is Gianna Dalla-Vecchia and I am the author behind this blog.
Here is my promenade…

I am nineteen years old and I am studying a Bachelor of Journalism. I am currently in my second year at university.
I am passionate about writing, presenting and the world of music. Fortunately I have been able to combine all three of my passions.
I co-present a radio show at a radio station called, '88.6 Plenty Valley FM'. On a fortnightly basis, on a Friday afternoon, I drive people home from 4-6pm. These two hours are jam packed, filled with music from Australia and beyond, random news that have been flying around the net and famous birthdays for that specific date. As well as news, sport and weather and up-to-date traffic reports and alerts… It’s a fantastic opportunity and great fun!
You can tune into ‘Friday Drive’ on a fortnightly basis on the station’s website… www.pvfm.org.au. You can listen to the show being streamed live.
I am also a Business Development trainee at 88.6 Plenty Valley FM, as of next year, I will become the station's Business Development Manager. This is a great opportunity as I am able to meet and greet many local communities that are listeners and supporters at the radio station.
As well as this, I am also a web content writer for one of Melbourne's biggest community radio stations, 89.9 LightFM. I write and review their most popular shows and also write articles on relevant and in-depth topics discussed live on-air.

In my past time, I enjoy writing poetry and song lyrics. I am a writer full member of ‘APRA’ (The Australasian Performing Right Association). I interestingly enough enjoy looking at real estate; (I know, a rather random liking) and I also love to sing and play the piano in my spare time. On top of this I work with women’s apparel, which I have been doing since the age of sixteen. I also help run and attend a youth group and whenever I can, I volunteer at a charity group, assisting people in my local community.

I believe every story, every promenade is like no other and therefore should be told. We can all learn and grow from other people’s experiences and journeys through life.
No matter if a person is known by many or known by few, each and every one of us in some way can leave our mark in our society.
Every person has a story. We are all walking along life’s promenade.
I would love to hear your promenade. Send me your promenade to promenadewithme@hotmail.com
