The month of January is known to be a time when we all put our feet up and just ‘chill out’. A few months ago I decided to do just this.
After much deliberation, my family and I chose to head up to Cairns, Australia, where the sun shines best! However, the week leading up to our great escape, tropical north Queensland was suffering from much thunderstorms!! Fortunately for us though, as soon as we touched down in Cairns on the 2nd of January, 2012, we noticed that Mother Nature was good to us, for all we saw was an endless blue sky!
Over a course of eight days, we took around 3,000 photos… yep you guessed it, we are a very photo happy family!
I normally post stories about other people’s life experiences, however, this month I decided to share my tropical holiday with you, through some of my favourite photos taken throughout the trip. Enjoy!
